Day 01: HARIDWAR – BARKOT (220 KMS/7 HRS)
Welcome to Chardham Yatra. Arrival to Railway Station meet our Representative and straight drive to Barkot via Mussoorie, visit famous Kampty fall of Mussoorie. And on word journey to Barkot.
Barkot is a quaint town blessed with the wonders of nature. Snuggled on the banks of river Yamuna, it sits at an elevation of 1220 m above the sea level. The place comes in as a relief of travelers who need an escape as the view of Bandarpoonch and other hills are magnificent. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: BARKOT – YAMNOTRI – BARKOT (36 KMSDRIVE & 6 KM TREK EACH SIDE)
In the morning leave for Janki Chatti, via Hanuman Chatti & Fool Chatti. At Janki Chatti go for 06Kms Trek to Yamnotri. On arrive take a holi dip in Garam kund, then darshan poojan of Yamnotri ji. In the afternoon start trek back to Janki chatty take your taxi and return back to Barkot.
Day 03: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI (100 KMS/ 4HRS)
In the morning after straight drive to uttarkashi. Enroute visit Prakteshwar Gufa. Dedicated to lord Shiva enjoy the nature enroute, lunch enroute and go for further journey to Uttrakahsi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100KMS / 3HRS EACH SIDE)
Early morning straight drive to Gangotri on the way at Gangnali have a dip in Garam Kund, then drive to Gangotri. Enroutr enjoy nature beauty Harshil valley. Majestic view Deodar tree and snow covered mountains. On arrival have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi (Ganga) perform Darshan & poojan, then enjoy the surrounding. In the noon drive back to Uttarkashi.
Day 05: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (235 KMS/ 9HRS)
Early Morning drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check into the hotel. Later do Registration for visiting Kedarnath. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH (30 KMS BY ROAD & 19 KMS TREK ONE WAY HEIGHT: 3384 MTS.)
Once your medical checkup Is done, you will proceed to Gaurikund on day 6. The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is 18 km, which can be covered by pony or palki. It is advised that the guests should carry medicines toiletries and warm woolen and clothes. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan. Overnight stay at hotel. (Stay by own self cost)
KEDARNATH: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotrilingas of lord shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of lord shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilt of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessing of lord shiva for redemption. Hel eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leavings his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of lord shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations.The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath , the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his looks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above- mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Day 07: KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (30 KMS BY ROAD & 19 KMS TREK ONE WAY HEIGHT: 3384 MTS.)
In the morning trek down to Gaurikund. Then back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH (215 KMS /7:00 HRS)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti
in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Vasundhara: As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.
Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
Badrinath Weather: The average maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually closed for tourists.
Day 09: BADRINATH – SRINAGAR (187 KMS/6:30 HRS)
Early morning after breakfast, check out the hotel. Later straight drive to Srinagar. En-route sightseeing Dhari Devi Temple. Overnight stay at hotel In Srinagar.
Dhari Devi Temple: On the banks of Alaknanda River, the holy temple of Goddess Dhari Devi is located between Srinagar and Rudraprayag on Badrinath Road. Dhari Devi Temple diety is Maa Dhari Devi. Now relocated from 20 meter high rock to man-made structure in 2013. Dhari Devi Temple Is the centre of faith for the people of Garhwal.
Day 10: SRINAGAR – RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR (132KMS/ 6:30)
Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh you will do the Rishikesh sightseeing visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Evening drive to Haridwar and drop in Haridwar Railway Station.
